Ukarea is a fictional dark and gritty human centric fantasy setting. I will be posting more on the setting as time allows and things are discovered within game. Posting rate will be flexible, but I will be trying to move it along as often as possible; probably Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Please let me know of any extended absences. Failing to do so could result in the untimely demise of your character to the winds of chaos. Did I mention I intend for it to be a dark and gritty setting?
Rolls will be done on the honor system, so feel free to roll on your desktop with actual dice. If you do not have them handy, a link will be provided to an online roller for your convenience.
House Rules, are flexible, and may be introduced or discarded at my discretion, with input from the Players, of course.
Posting guidelines: Posts should be in third person past tense, if at all possible, and proceeded with the character's name. Out of Character comments should be proceeded with "OoC" or in hard brackets ( [text] ). The spoken word should either be in "quotes" or italicized. That said, it should become second nature in short order, but I do reserve the right to edit posts for flow and readability.
More to come as I get the blog together, but feel free to ask questions now or discuss character concepts. Don't worry about a lengthy back-story, Microlite20 is old school and character death is common, besides, the adventure is your back-story/history! If you enjoy writing, feel free, but don't be to disappointed if he/she dies.
